About

TL;DR: I structure cross-border investments into Nepal and help Nepali companies become foreign-capital ready. In 10 years, I've helped deploy $100M+ in FDI and built 5 ventures at the intersection of law, finance, education, hiring and technology. Hi there, I’m a Chartered Accountant (by qualification, no, I don’t file taxes or sign audit reports, but yes, I did clear the exams), a part-time corporate lawyer (mostly when it’s fun, urgent, or pays obscenely well), and a founder of a few tech-enabled experiments that occasionally turn into businesses, and somehow pay for my caffeine habit. I became a CA because someone said, “You’ll get 1 lakh for one signature.” Didn’t get to sign anything. Turns out, the ₹1 lakh isn’t for the signature! Then I studied law because Harish Salve had both degrees and I thought, “Maybe that’s the cheat code.” It wasn’t. Eventually, I stumbled into tech. Finally, something chaotic enough to feel like home. And this has been the pattern: I build something. Then I get bored. Then I build the next thing. What I believe: Law and finance should be boring, that means they’re working. Tech should solve problems, not rename them as “features.” Founders should stop posting like they’re stuck inside a TEDx fever dream. And somewhere in this chaos, you can still build things that matter. Final Note: Yes, this is a professional platform. No, I won’t pretend it’s a personality contest. If my posts feel too blunt, they’re not personal. They’re just better written than the last shareholder agreement I had to fix at 2 a.m. Let’s connect if you’re into fintech, legal grey zones, diaspora dreams, or quietly fixing broken systems pretending they’re fine. I’m not here for applause. I’m here for what’s next.

Nepali dias

Founder

  • Nepali Dias is a professional networking platform designed for the global Nepali diaspora and Nepal-connected professionals.
  • We're building a space where connections aren’t just about who you know, but where you're going. Whether you’re a Nepali working in Dubai, studying in Sydney, leading a tech team in San Francisco, scaling a multinational in London, or running a startup in Kathmandu, Nepali Dias is where you find people who get it.
  • Our mission is to connect Nepali professionals across borders, sectors, and life stages—to share opportunities, ideas, and support. From startup founders to civil servants, digital nomads to development professionals—we're building the digital infrastructure for global Nepali collaboration.
  • As the founder, I’m leading product development, strategic partnerships, and community engagement—building a platform that feels less like LinkedIn, and more like the community we wish we had when we were figuring things out abroad.
  • We’re starting with:
  • A mobile-first networking app (MVP in development)
  • A newsletter, Nepali Dias Weekly, covering diaspora-driven stories that actually matter
  • Curated matchmaking for mentorship, collaboration, and cross-border support
  • Verified professional profiles for trust-building within the community
  • This isn’t just about nostalgia. It’s about creating a serious, intentional network for a global Nepali generation that’s building, learning, and giving back.
  • We are open for business, collaboration and partnerships. Interested? DM me or send an email to founder@nepalidias.com

  • Started with a salary survey using a google form, got around 1000 responses in 4 months. Using the database and based on feedback, we build www.salaryinbox.com and our first version went live in January 2025. This has been only possible because of the people who trusted us and shared their salary data. So, we would like to proudly call them as co-founders of SalaryInBox and our goal of salary transparency and informed salary negotiations in Nepal would not have been possible without their support.
