• The "parallel"​ life that I have led since 2007, I have learnt and practiced the ancient South Indian art of acupressure called varmam. I have received Advanced Training in the same from the Arts Research Institute in Coimbatore and have run the Delhi center for Varmam Therapy and Treatment for 6 years.
• I am also a certified practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and Advanced Reflexology. I hold a Diploma in magnet-based acupressure from the Acu Sansthan in Allahabad and am a practicing Bach Flower Therapist. I also conduct Faster EFT sessions with select clients.
• I have studied hands-on with several doctors and use all the tools at my disposal to help my clients achieve vibrant health and well being. Analysis of traditional western blood and radiology reports, nutritional supplementation, acupressure, NLP, BFR, Faster EFT - they are all part of my holistic practice to help clients achieve their health goals.
• I only see patients through referrals from other patients or practitioners and have gravitated more towards helping people with chronic conditions recover complete health. My multi-pronged practice is time-intensive and I have worked with scores of satisfied clients till date.
• I like to constantly update my skills and have recently completed my Certification in Functional Nutrition from Washington State University with the highest grades. I am also a qualified Master of Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis or FBCA and a Certified Functional Hormone Specialist.
• I'm passionate about using nutrition and supplements to help people. I'm currently setting up an online health care advisory service to help aging people achieve great physical and mental well being.

• I have been with INTV since its inception. As partner, I oversaw all content created at the company.
• INTV has been focussed on creating films for the development sector, particularly for UNICEF, for the last 7-8 years.
• My interest in nutrition and health care has dovetailed well with the films we have created around maternal and child health and nutrition. Infant and newborn survival, nutrition for expecting mothers, children and adolescents, sanitation and health care guidelines for rural India - these are the subjects that I have taken a special interest in.
• Before we began to focus on developing visual content for the development sector, INTV has produced several hundred hours of programming for leading television channels.
• I have been played the roles of Creative Director, Producer and Writer across these shows, including the award winning documentary series "Business Bizarre" on BBC World (3 seasons, 21 documentaries), India Business Week (Star Plus), Business Breakfast (DD-National - 500 plus episodes) and Crossfire (DD-II) to name a few.
• During this period, I also anchored Business Breakfast and interviewed captains of industry and top bureaucrats and politicians on national TV.

Oct 2000 – Dec 2001 · 1 yr 2 mos

• Helped set-up greenfield telecom project; was part of the start-up team of Iqara Broadband, BG's maiden venture into telecommunications and media in India. Provided consultancy on areas of multi-media and interactive content, retail content delivery systems, product pricing and design. Also helped liase with government agencies on regulatory matters and structure corporate entities to meet existing laws on foreign ownership.

Apr 2000 – Sep 2000 · 5 mos

• Joined Monitor India and worked on a variety of projects during my short stint with them; a partner search for a global insurance major, assessments of start-ups for a new venture fund and strategic inputs on a large media company takeover. My stint with them ended with a strategic feasibility study on a greenfield telecom project for a global oil major.

Jan 1994 – Feb 1996 · 2 yrs 1 mo · Bombay

• Ran the Bombay Bureau. Was responsible for stories filed across the shows Business Breakfast and Crossfire on the national broadcaster, Doordarshan. Interviewed business leaders and oversaw stories filed by correspondents working under me.

Feb 1992 – Dec 1993 · 1 yr 10 mos · Bombay

• Worked with UTV on the show India Business Week (Star Plus). Did most of the lead stories during the period I was with the show.

Apr 1991 – Dec 1991 · 8 mos · Bombay

• Began as a Trainee Correspondent with Business World magazine and went on quickly to specialize in articles focussed on the Banking and Finance section.
