Most EAs fit into existing systems. I build them when there are none. I have been brought in as the first EA hire at two different companies. No playbook, no processes, no one to learn from. Just a founder who needed someone to figure it out and make it work. I did that twice and I would do it again because that is genuinely where I do my best work. Right now I am the Head of Operations and Senior EA at a fully remote tech company. I own how the company runs day to day, keep the founder focused on what only he can do, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. I also lead the way our team uses AI and automation, which has changed how fast and how well we operate. Before this I was the first EA in the history of Inside the Magic. I came in, supported the CEO across a team of 50 plus people, and helped reshape how the entire company operated from the inside out. The results spoke for themselves. I am a certified Chief of Staff which means I do not just think about today. I think about what the business needs six weeks from now and I start working on it before anyone asks.
