Francesco Rocchetti — Co-Founder
As Founding Director of the Europe’s Futures Initiative (EFI) since January 2026, I am working to help Europe regain strategic agency by turning long-term analysis into usable options for decision-makers and the wider public. EFI is a startup in the world of ideas: a pan-European policy accelerator designed to complement traditional think tanks through faster cycles, sharper convening, and a stronger bridge between policy, media, and civic engagement. Previously, I spent almost ten years at the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI), serving as Secretary General and curating the Rome MED Dialogues. In these roles, I supported and led initiatives that brought together ministers, experts, and institutions to advance dialogue and cooperation on Mediterranean geopolitics and broader international affairs.
