• I know MADLAB since 2012. It is a high energy design lab with relentless rigour & passion for innovation. I could not have asked for a more conducive environment to start this new chapter in my life. At MADLAB, there is both ‘Space & Pace’ to build something ‘Authentic & Genuine’.
• And I am here in the pursuit of making ‘Space & Conversations’ more meaningful & connected. Through research, data & analysis, we build brands that are aspirational, meaningful, both within the organisation & with their consumers/clients. We challenge them to see new opportunities by leveraging their strengths. With this starts a journey of thoughtful change, measured design decisions, managing uncertainties through prototyping & logical execution.

• The MEDDIC sales process is designed to better manage your B2B sales. This sales methodology at its core promotes pitching projects to “better-qualified customers” results in a higher closing rate, thereby increasing sales success. It was an honour to learn this process by the Godfather of MEDDIC 'Jack Napoli' himself.

• An initiative by Space Matrix in collaboration with Metis, LEAP is a uniquely crafted training program that nurtures ‘next generation leaders’ in an organisation. The training program focused on every aspect of becoming an Authentic, Empowering & Inspirational Leader. We learnt the number game (P&L, turnover, cashflow etc), the importance of reciprocity, meaning of circle of influence, being articulate, team work & collaboration. The program also focused on effective goal setting, the true meaning of Strategy & its application, Negotiation, Genuine networking, how to have difficult conversations with team members and developing a growth mindset. The Metis team made this power packed program so simple & so much fun that the lessons learnt are engrained in me for life.

• I joined Space Matrix in 2015 as a Designer with one year of experience. My expectation out of this job was much like any other junior designer joining a multinational firm. As soon as I joined I was plunged into this ocean of possibilities & challenges. I loved it, I loved the thrill, the adrenaline rush & within a month with some guidance I was interacting with International clients & going places. I was no longer an Interior Designer, Space Matrix helped me discover the business savviness in me. Part of my job was to understand the brands business goals, core values & client aspirations to offer both an exciting & viable Design solution. I soon became a liaison between our design team, project team & the client. This enabled me to ensure client expectations are met, mitigate risks in the project early on & enable consistency from Concept till handover. In this role I had the privilege to work with clients like Linkedin, Microsoft, Paypal, Eli Lilly to name a few. I am grateful to Space Matrix for trusting me through this wonderful journey.

• I started my career with Synergy. While I was part of a much larger firm, our design team was just the right size. Our boss & our seniors were very friendly, tolerant & constantly teaching us, always helping us grow. Pitching for new projects through concept development & space design became one of my key responsibility while still being involved in the entire process of Design (space planning, design development, FF&E, GFC & site coordination).
• Synergy helped me build the right foundation for me to take the next big leap.

• Being part of a small team enabled me to be part of the entire Design process from start to finish. From Design and conceptualizing, Furniture design, Lighting design, Graphic design, Space planning, Utility and plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Material and finishes, Preparing conceptual and technical set of drawings, model making, preparing the bill of Quantity, making client presentations, dealing directly with the clients as well as various agencies involved in the execution process and site supervision. Understanding the client’s needs and providing feasible design options.
• Worked on an Award winning eco-friendly sustainable house designed for climatic comfort using local and alternative building technologies in South India. Interior Design and Landscaping of a Colonial home for Arun Murrugapan ‘Laurels’ Teynampet, Chennai, India.
