• I lead multiple teams within Technical Operations (Core Technology Group).
• Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team has a focus on validating the next/new infrastructure technologies. The team also designs and develops tools/platforms that automate repetitive manual processes and provide a consolidated infrastructure view.
• Real-Time Communication Infrastructure, Operations and Development team manage infrastructure and applications to manage audio traffic. In addition to this, the team works as Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) to iron out inter-provider telephony issues.

• I worked with the Production Engineering and Operations organization at Yahoo. As a production engineer we engage with the product engineering team at the design state of the product and help them with an appropriate scalable architecture. We work as consultants to the product engineering team at every stage of the product life cycle.
• Platforms Group is a premier group at Yahoo, running the core production infrastructure including the Developer Productivity Services, Yahoo Infrastructure Services, Unix Infrastructure Services, OpenStack, Monitoring Services and Performance Platforms.
• I have build strong technical teams and have managed several critical projects for the company.
• One of my teams have been awarded the prestigious "A Night on The Town" award for the exemplary performance demonstrated during some of the critical projects. In addition to this all of my team members have been recognized individually for their performance and have been awarded spot bonuses from the senior leadership.
• Before joining the platforms, I was working with the User Data and Analytic group managing the Audience Analytic Infrastructure and Applications. The infrastructure comprised of 6 large Torque clusters (altogether 1200 process instances on 250 nodes and 2500 NP transforming/aggregating around 8TB data per day). We transitioned from the legacy Torque based infrastructure to three large Hadoop Clusters (2000 nodes per cluster).

• ITC Infotech is a global IT Services company wholly owned by ITC Ltd. During the period I worked with ITC Infotech, I was engaged with two of their major clients such as British American Tobacco, Barclays Global Investors at Bangalore, San Francisco, London and Singapore.
• For British American Tobacco offshore development center at Bangalore, I have designed and implemented monitoring for Lotus/Domino servers using Nagios which replaced an expensive commercial product resulting in cost savings.
• As a process consultant I have designed and streamlined various unix operational processes thus enabling the client Barclays Global Investors to move global unix operations to Singapore resulting in cost savings.

• Broadcasting Dataservices (BDS) was a wholly owned subsidiary of BBC Broadcast, part of BBC group. BBC Broadcast was subsequently acquired by Red Bee Media. BDS is a leading specialist broadcasting listings bureau providing TV and radio listings to the highest standard on behalf of both broadcasters and publishers. The company has a database of over 1200 radio and T.V. channels and supply data to over 14 Electronic Program Guides (EPG).
• During my tenure at BDS, I have exclusively provided support for RHEL production database and application servers. I have worked on setting up a load balanced & highly available cluster of web services cluster for high profile BBC iPlayer project. I have implemented and tested a limited BCP setup and have designed and implemented an automated server build and configuration management system for the production servers.
