Chief of bureau and data journalist with the Hindu Business Line in Chennai. Cut through the noise of large data sets to report insights across print, online, and video formats. Also report on developments in the deep tech and startups ecosystem. Prior to this, I was a business journalist with the Times of India in Chennai, covering technology and telecom businesses and the booming entrepreneurship ecosystem in the country. Besides breaking news related to PE, VC, and angel investments, I have also penned features on emerging trends in the startup ecosystem, corporate HR policies and trends in the technology industry. I also write for the Times Techies, a flagship weekly technology page of the Times of India. Alumna of the Asian College of Journalism, one of India's most reputed journalism schools. Also a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5 years of work experience as a business consultant. I was earlier a Features Editor at Entrepreneur Middle East in Dubai. Prior to that, was part of the team producing news shows for the market hours programming at the business channel CNBC-TV18. As part of my production responsibilities, I assisted in producing the flagship stock market-opening show (Bazaar -Morning Call) and was also given the responsibility of rolling a show on my own.
