About

I lead the Financial Services Division at Capital One where I oversee the company’s auto business, one of the top auto lenders in the U.S. and a premier digital solutions provider for the industry. My teams are focused on reimagining the car buying experience through cutting-edge technology, real-time data and deep relationships with dealers and consumers built on trust. With a background in engineering, art and business, I’ve held a variety of positions in Capital One over the last 25+ years. I believe deeply in combining customer-backed design, technology and innovative operational structures to build iconic products and experiences. I get so much energy from building new tools and technology alongside my team, and hold 20+ U.S. patents on digital products. In addition to my role at Capital One, I serve on boards and in leadership positions aligned to my personal passions: uniting businesses, governments and nonprofits to build vibrant communities; attracting and retaining amazing talent; and bringing together art and technology to innovate for the future. Promoted

Jan 2009Present · 17 yrs 3 mos

  • As the President of the Financial Services Division within Capital One, I am responsible for overseeing the company’s auto business. In my time as President, the business has turned around to become one of the largest auto lenders in the nation. Over the past several years, my team and I have completely transformed the auto business model, making the jump to a technology business driven by human-centered design. We have reimagined the boundaries of auto in an innovative way for the good of the customer. Among many other patented processes, we launched our award-winning Auto Navigator product in 2015 with the goal of simplifying the car buying experience for consumers. We also launched Capital One Navigator Platform in 2023, a suite of digital tools that build on the business’s existing products and adds new capabilities to allow auto dealers to connect with more car buyers.
  • In a milestone moment in 2025, we launched the company’s first customer-facing AI tool. Backed by our proprietary technology, Chat Concierge leverages agentic AI to answer questions, schedule test drives and more to help streamline the car buying experience.
  • During this time, I have also had the privilege to shape and execute key Capital One giving strategies for Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. It is an area I am deeply passionate about, as we contribute to building thriving communities.
  • I serve as a member of Capital One’s Executive Committee and have the pleasure of reporting directly to our company’s founder, chairman and CEO, Richard D. Fairbank.
