• Spotted ACH fraud as a trust-building opportunity with banking partners. Stood up a cross-functional team (TPM, PM, Data Science, Engineering) and built targeted fraud models — 2x reduction in validation testing before full deployment.
• Negotiated compliance roadmaps that reduced regulatory surface area while unblocking the business to launch new finance programs including credit cards.
• Pivoted the tooling team to fintech ledger reconciliation ahead of regulatory changes — replaced cross-service DB queries with an event-based platform supporting multiple banking partners.
• Built the organizational charter, hired managers, and redirected the onboarding team to bank tooling when the original scope proved too narrow.

• Led development of a first-of-its-kind workflow: remote associates building 3D shelf models overlaid on live video. Launched in Amazon Grocery and a DC-area Whole Foods.
• Owned backend reliability as the platform shifted from hardware to streaming and ML event detection. Built operational controls for new-store standup and live site events.

• I worked with the raw data coming off of Illumina Sequencers and run preliminary base calling scripts.
• Afterwards, I either created pipelines or modified existing ones in order piece together an accurate representation of what the data is saying. Most of my analyses were concerned with tDNA.
• This included lots of Bash Scripting, Python, R, Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, and SQL. Also healthy doses of MACS, Bowtie, Top Hat, Cufflinks, BLAST, Samtools etc.
• On a less than regular basis I created worklist scripts for our Tecan Freedom Evo and maintained a pipeline for Next Gen sequencing (ChIP-Seq).
