Product Lead

Jul 2016Dec 2018 · 2 yrs 5 mos · San Francisco Bay Area

  • The cross-functional lead for the B2B product and external user interfaces and customer acquisition funnels. I collaborated closely with a team of 24 engineering and analytics individual contributors. I also communicated company-wide to make sure that our operations and marketing teams were aware of product and process changes.
  • I spearheaded and built the enterprise solution to drive B2B growth. This consisted of working with customers to understand their requirements for sign up, reviewing the technical scope to make user model changes, and deliver a final product including the sign-up flow, along with administrative tools for corporate customers. Conducted customer research with small businesses seeking to improve their team's productivity. I learned about the challenges they were having and came up with simple lightweight solutions to make it easy for them to track and control spending within their teams.
  • I worked on our first design and implementation of workflows for our operations team which grew from 20 to nearly 100 agents. We started it off with building a tagging system that we could train to automatically decipher, classify and rank a user message based on urgency and category. The request would then get routed to a specific agent that was available and equipped to complete the task. This led us to be able to cut the time down spent on these tasks, as well as reduce the likelihood of human error.
  • I built and managed a lightweight CRM tool in-house that gave us the flexibility to create landing pages with content targeted at specific industries and conducted competitive analysis for each of our new product initiatives.

  • I managed the development and integration of health care spending accounts into the complete employer health insurance packages that we offered our largest enterprise clients. We went from a previously entirely manual process of uploading individual and employer contributions to bank accounts, to an integrated system for both business and end consumer users to understand and use all of their health care spending accounts when receiving care. I worked with enterprise clients such as Alegeus Technologies to develop the implementation into CH. I collaborated with the entire engineering team and systems IT in order to successfully set up the integration and remove the manual process and minimize risk and the error rate.

  • With HireReady we were working to build a new age vocational training platform enabling applicants to receive training required to start a job and be placed into a job opening in 2 weeks or less.
  • Business Operations and Partnerships
  • My primary goal was to build an operational playbook and training program to immediately help applicants receive training for low-medium skilled full time and contract jobs. Hired a trainer to conduct sessions and my team and I acquired and screened over 3K applicants and trained over 100 individuals. In our first three months of operation, we generated $25,000 in revenue from vendors, primarily in hospitality.
  • I reached out to partners to offer our services and maintained the relationship with our vendors to ensure our applicant quality met and surpassed expectations
