Mr Samir Bhandari has joined hBits fractional ownership platform as the Chief Financial Officer. During his career, spanning over 33 years as a banker, Samir has held senior leadership positions with reputed organizations such as Bank of America, UBS, J.P. Morgan and Nomura. In his previous stint with Nomura, he was Managing Director-Head of Global Markets Sales (Asia ex-Japan) and Co-Chair of Global Sales. Samir's experience spans multiple Fortune 500 firms; he started his career in 1989 as a management trainee at Bank of America and worked with the firm in Mumbai and Hong Kong. For the past 26 years, he has been in Singapore, holding senior leadership positions with UBS (Executive Director), JP Morgan (Managing Director) and Nomura (Managing Director). In his last role with Nomura (spanning over 13 years), he was responsible for sales across fixed income and equities in Asia and other countries. He was also a member of Nomura's Asia and Global Executive Committee. Samir is a CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. With him on board, hBits plans to leverage the interest of national and international investors by bringing in more assets to build a robust portfolio. Samir's international experience will also help hBits expand internationally to strengthen their positioning in the fractional ownership CRE industry.
