About

I’m a scientist who thinks a lot about the systems we move through including biology, AI, academia, and industry, and why so many of them make smart people feel lost. My work, and honestly much of my writing, comes from trying to bridge those gaps. I trained in structural and molecular biology, but the more time I spent modeling proteins and building datasets, the more I realized my real strength was in explaining problems, reframing them, and turning them into something actionable. That’s what pulled me toward computational biology, product thinking, and scientific storytelling. Since then, I’ve helped build an AI-driven drug discovery venture that raised $150K pre-prototype, created a rare-disease platform now used by 3,000+ scientists, and shaped scientific strategy, product narratives, and decision-making frameworks for teams working in the space between research and application. And because I care about the human side of science as much as the technical side, I write about all of it like the identity crisis after a PhD, the job market no one prepares you for, the pressure scientists face to know everything, and the strange intersection of AI and biological intuition. What I do now is write about the parts of scientific careers people usually only talk about privately, and build tools/projects that sit in the gap between research and real life. I share even more details on my Substack every week: https://biovectoral.substack.com/. If you’re building something at the intersection of science and software, or if you’re just someone who likes honest conversations about how we build, work, and learn in this field, I hope you'll find something here worth following.
