• I am volunteering at MakeShift. I am engaged in various activities such as brainstorming and curating online ideation program for teachers, parents, students and other stakeholders of the education sector. • The entire project was executed remotely. The objective of the project was to understand how Small and Medium size businesses in India function and the challenges that they face while using communication tools and platforms. The project was executed in multiple countries and I was part of the study that was conducted in India. As a researcher, I was responsible to conduct interviews of founders and employees who were part of small and medium size businesses.

• We are working on a project based around digital inequality. The research proposes to study digital disadvantage of children from marginalized and low-income communities in urban area. The study will look digital environment, access, exposure and training at school as well as at home.

• As a research associate I am carrying out interviews of returned and local entrepreneurs. The project is carried out by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in association with the Hong Kong University of Science. The project is focused on understanding reverse migration.

• During two years at the organization, I led several projects like impact evaluation studies, case studies, need-gap analysis, etc. I was responsible to draft proposals for internal- external projects. I designed a survey tool to assess school-level and class-level practices with the focus on understanding school persona. The tool was implemented in 25 + schools in Maharashtra and Goa. In addition to that I designed feedback surveys and classroom data management tool.
• I worked on various innovative research tools such as observational research, ethnographic research, video shooting to gain insights on the learning process, etc.
• I conducted workshop for 100 + teachers on how to maintain classroom level data and how to observe students’ behaviour in classroom. I also conducted workshops for field investigator to explain the survey tool.

• As a State coordinator for Maharashtra, I recruited field surveyors through telephonic and in-person interviews, translated survey material into a local language from English, supervised field-based data collection process, managed three teams containing six surveyors each. I assisted one of the principal investigators to conduct the workshop for field surveyors. Along with one of the teams, I traveled extensively to interior parts of Maharashtra. In addition to supervision, I conducted interviews to gather data from institutional authorities such as government hospitals and schools.
