  • "Who better to market than your customers' friends?"
  • This was by far my most successful market test. I created a moderated student network on WhatsApp which allowed me to send any message to all the students in my University within a day.
  • This created an effective marketing channel. Since everyone was a college student, the message was being very effectively being broadcasted to a very focused group. Also, since it was being sent to the students' WhatsApp devices via their friends, it got more focus than normal ads.
  • I had great success with this model. I even started some money within the first 3 months without spending any money at all. The only drawback was scalability which can maybe be dealt with in the future.
