Startup Weekend, an non profit organisation powered by Google for Entrepreneurs, provides a platform where startup enthusiasts work for continuous 54 hours to transform their business idea into viable product. Varanasi was the first city to host Startup Weekend in Uttar Pradesh. It wasn't an event but a crucial step in establishing a community for local entrepreneurs and giving them opportunity to connect with proficient mentors and investors.
As Lead Organizer, I led the team of 10 members across the fields like Marketing, Public Relation and Event Management. This event witnessed 100+ participation, 10 coaches and venture partners like Microsoft and Palaash Ventures. Overall this event was a great success with highest number of pitches all across India.
