Sunita Nadhamuni — CEO
I have deep interest in solving public health issues at state/nation scale. I believe in the importance of universal health care through focus on primary, preventive and promotive care especially for marginalised and vulnerable populations. My strength lies in the intersection of technology, health systems and Government. With depth in the healthcare domain and Government heath systems, I work with stakeholders to unpack, analyse and solve complex systemic problems. I’m interested in driving the use of DPGs (digital public goods) and DPI (digital public infrastructure) for delivery of healthcare programs. I’m excited about the role that technology is playing in triggering fundamental change in approach to addressing entrenched problems of health access, quality and citizen choice/centricity. I founded Digital LifeCare, a flagship social impact initiative at Dell Technologies focusing on the digital transformation of primary healthcare systems. Digital LifeCare powers the Govt of India’s Ayushman Bharat’s NCD (Non-communicable Diseases) for preventive screening & management of diabetes, hypertension and cancers in partnership with Tata Trusts. The technology system is used in 33 States across India with more than 230 million people digitally enrolled upto Jan 31st, 2023. We worked with an rich ecosystem of Government and partners including Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, State Governments, Tata Trusts, NHSRC, AIIMS, WHO-India, NIC, ICMR institutions, Harvard University & St John's Research Institute. I led Dell’s Social Innovation initiatives globally, leveraging technology to address complex societal issues at scale through partnerships. We supported programs with technology to improve access to healthcare, education and economic opportunities for the underserved. I’m the Chairperson of Arghyam, a charitable foundation setup by Rohini Nilekani with a mission of promoting equity and sustainability in water management. I was earlier the founding CEO in 2005. I’m a technology professional with a decade of IT experience in the Bay Area in California, followed by a decade as social entrepreneur in the development sector in India. Now leveraging both - using technology to solve the large developmental and growth issues facing emerging economies today.
