• Define requirements, design and implement features for Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail. Feature implementations were coded on Azure, C#, SQL, Javascript, X++ and Typescript.
• Drove Performance improvements for Dynamics AX for Retail product by defining plans to validate the scalability and performance of the product at large scale deployments and ensure the bottlenecks are addressed before release. Performance improvements involved SQL schema redesigning to re-architecting the data model for storing the data in the business logic. Being a large enterprise system, a lot of attention was given to the amount of data being transferred on the wire at each stage of the workflow.
• Implemented solutions to significantly improve engineering efficiencies for the team by focusing on driving quality upstream. This was done by enabling a full deployment of every build after code change and extensive validation of the change before it was checked into the build.
• Defined the testing strategy for the larger 50 Engineer team to sign off for the release.
• Managing a team of over 15 senior engineers onshore and offshore resources - to develop the features for the upcoming release and ensure the features are delivered with high quality.

• Owned the testing and quality of the following services Dynamics Online Payment Service, Commerce & Marketplace Service and Sites Service,
• I was actively involved in the live site management of these services. This involved deployment of services without any downtown and carefully orchestrating the rollout of the services with very detailed and validated deployment steps. Also, live site monitoring through on-call rotations and analyzing of monitoring information for issues with Live Site.
• Actively involved in the design of the test automation framework in C# to validate all the workflows and business logic in the product. Also, drove the overall team wide automation effort and got close to 80% automation coverage within a period of 3 months through effective reporting dashboards.
• Was the hiring manager and key decision maker in hiring and growing the team from 8 engineers to 23 engineers by defining a thorough hiring strategy.

• Home networking features – Network diagnostic Framework, Network maps & Network Connectivity Status Indicator.
• The home networking features had been missing timelines multiple times. I played a very crucial role in the Home networking features by turning around the project and driving the feature team to deliver the project on time.
• Actively participated in the design of a new network protocol – Peer Name Resolution Protocol and released the first version of the PNRP protocol.
• Implemented, executed and analysed the stress testing tool for the Grouping and Graphing APIs that use the PNRP protocol.

• Designed and executed test plans on Shell for Windows XP & 2000 Service Packs, mainly for components like Explorer View state, Folder Options & SHBrowseForFolder.
• Wrote automation scripts to perform regression testing.
• Developed a tool using Windows API to automate the generation of wrapper classes for Shell dialogs and windows as part of the Shell automated testing harness.
• Designed and developed a 32-64 bit thunking layer in C, for the 32-bit VB automation script to communicate with a 64-bit Explorer. As there does not exist a 64-bit VB compiler, an emulator was created to send common control (comctrl32) messages across to a 64-bit application from 32-bit scripts. The Windows-on-Windows emulator could not be used as it handled only User level messages.
• Developed test harnesses to automate the usage of different features, like right-clicks, double-clicks, etc. of newly introduced Windows controls, like the DirectUI controls through the interfaces exposed.
• Was given complete ownership of the VB Shell automation harness.
• Developed intense stress testing applications in C to exercise SHBrowseForFolder and Window Explorer.
• Mentored summer interns.
