About

“There’s always a way forward. You just have to see it clearly.” I’ve spent three decades helping organizations do just that — see clearly. As CEO at Exper, I work with leadership teams to uncover clarity in complexity — to align around what truly matters, to navigate the hard conversations, and to move together with purpose. Our work at Exper isn’t about offsites or frameworks. It’s about creating the conditions where leaders see themselves, their teams, and their organization’s direction with new eyes — and then act from that clarity. Through deep facilitation, real dialogue, and immersive experiences, we help organizations find alignment that lasts. My journey has taken me from running a financial services NGO to scaling a social incubator, from building one of India’s first international call centres to helping leadership teams transform conflict into collaboration. Across every context, I’ve seen that when people truly see what’s in front of them — the blocks, the possibilities, the choices — movement becomes natural. What I’ve learned along the way: 1. Process creates freedom. The right structures liberate people to focus on what truly matters. 2. Conflict is energy. When surfaced with care, it becomes the fuel for transformation. 3. Clarity creates momentum. Decision-making defines leadership. Outside work, I find the same clarity in nature — on long hikes, watching rivers and stars, or in quiet stillness. Because every time you pause long enough to really see, the way forward appears.

  • Even the best leadership teams get stuck—whether it’s misalignment, trust gaps, or just the everyday complexities that slow things down. Exper helps teams step back, have the real conversations, and figure out what’s getting in the way. We don’t bring a playbook of answers—we create the space for leaders to find their own, so they can move forward with clarity, connection, and impact.

Revitalizing rainfed agriculture network (rran)

CEO

May 2015Nov 2016 · 1 yr 6 mos · New Delhi Area, India

  • RRAN was set up in 2010 by a group of stakeholders who came together to work on the rainfed agenda with the mission of influencing the reconfiguration of public systems, policy and investments for productive, prosperous and resilient rainfed agriculture by building synergies between the diversity of ecosystems and the development aspirations of our people.
  • Given the changing external environment, funding scenario and operational considerations, during my tenure we were able to critically evaluate RRAN’s contribution, leading to the need for engaging a large group of stakeholders, revisiting the agenda, the operating strategy and the structure including governance of the network. We were able to successfully engage stakeholders who till now, while working on the agenda (in different ways), weren’t part of the active Network; led the way to the creation of a new Board tasked with arriving at version 2.0 of the network.
