I am a PhD researcher in the Robotics Department at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Statistics. My research interests lie at the intersection of computer vision, image processing, and robotics, where I focus on developing learning-based solutions for complex real-world perception problems. Prior to joining IISc, I worked as an AI Researcher at TCS Research, contributing to research that bridges industrial relevance and academic rigor. I have published in leading peer-reviewed journals and conferences, including WACV, ISMAR, IEEE IJCNN, and Springer venues. My recent and representative work includes: 1. Anomaly detection from ego-view cameras of mobile and surveillance robots 2. Image dehazing and vision enhancement using deep learning–based transmission models 3. 3D vision and object understanding for retrieval and immersive XR applications I have authored a book chapter on image dehazing and vision enhancement, accepted for publication in IET Intelligent Multimedia Processing and Computer Vision: Techniques and Applications. I am also an inventor on multiple US patents, including one granted patent, one published patent, and two filed patent applications, reflecting the translational and applied impact of my research.
