India's banks and NBFCs are sitting on hundreds of ungoverned APIs — partner integrations, bureau connections, UPI rails, AA framework calls — with no unified layer to manage, monitor, or monetise them. That's the problem I'm building VahanaHub to solve. VahanaHub is a 3-layer platform purpose-built for regulated financial institutions: an API gateway (rate limiting, quota management, failover, consumer key management), an API marketplace with 1,500+ pre-integrated financial APIs and 70+ partners, and an open banking publisher for institutions launching open banking programs. Live with 15 banks and NBFCs in India. Live on-premise in Saudi Arabia consuming sovereign APIs including Elm, SIMAH, and Nafath — one of the most regulated API environments in the world.
