• Acumen was a $250M early-stage venture firm investing across East Africa, South Asia, and Latin America during my tenure. I supported the investment process and delivered targeted support to 50 companies through turnaround, growth, and exit. This included managing follow-on investments, identifying intervention areas critical to company growth, launching CEO and manager leadership programs, and building strategic relationships from AlphaSights to Bain. Some of the companies I worked with were in agtech, distributed energy, and mobile payments. I also worked with the firm's partners and LPAC to manage the first institutional fund towards exits at the end of its lifecycle.

• As an Acumen portfolio company, I worked with Gulu Agricultural Development Company, helping scale the business. My initial focus was running their buying operations across the Kigum, Lamwo and Agago districts where we purchased, bulked and exported 2,000 metric tons of sesame. I then focused on the accounting and finance operations, grant writing, partnership development and technology implementation to build operational capacity and train up key hires to scale the business.

• Start Up! India provided a range of non-financial expertise to civil society organizations to strengthen their organizations, processes and strategies for impact measurement. My engagement included design and execution of an impact accelerator demand assessment, construction of a financial modeling toolkit for angel and incubation clients and support with client projects across rural healthcare, migrant banking and education.
