I work at the intersection of Salesforce architecture, software design, and enterprise security. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve been involved in building and delivering complex Salesforce solutions, with a more recent focus on security posture — how access, integrations, and platform controls behave in practice across real-world environments. I’m the author of Clean Apex Code and the Chief Editor of the Security Benchmark for Salesforce, an independent, practitioner-defined standard for evaluating Salesforce security. Founder and original author of the Security Benchmark for Salesforce (SBS), an independent initiative defining what “secure” means for enterprise Salesforce environments. My research into real-world Salesforce security incidents revealed a big gap: organizations lack an objective, platform-specific way to measure security posture.
Without measurable conditions, security programs struggle to demonstrate progress, justify investment, or clearly understand how well their environments would withstand a data breach.
As Chief Editor, I lead the development of new controls, shape the benchmark’s strategic direction, and evangelize its adoption across the Salesforce and security communities. I work to bring together experienced practitioners to define clear, auditable standards that help organizations systematically improve security posture, reduce breach impact, and strengthen incident response in mission-critical Salesforce environments.
