After years in the D2C and startup space, I’ve recently transitioned to working in the Director’s Office at Dr.Kurade’s - best known for their work in the mushroom industry. While I originally came in for the operations and strategic side, I quickly found myself captivated by the world of fungi. Neither plant nor animal, this “third kingdom” has opened my eyes to the untapped potential of mycelial networks, functional mushrooms, and the larger role fungi can play in health, sustainability, and innovation. I’m currently working on a few exciting cross-category projects that go beyond mushrooms & and I’m always eager to learn more.
