About

I spend my nights building AI agents to run my household while my baby girl sleeps on me. By day, I lead marketing for a decision intelligence company. I'm VP of Marketing at RelationalAI. Before this, I led marketing at Neeva (acquired by Snowflake), grew Pokémon GO at Niantic, and did a stint in crypto in the weirder years. My resume looks like a tech hype cycle timeline, but I promise I just really love the frontier. Forbes put me on their 30 Under 30 list, and I turned out to be one of the boring ones who didn't commit fraud. Three areas I write on that I can’t stop thinking about: - AI for real life. I share what I actually built this week and what you can do with it. - The ambition trap. I explore what success actually costs and whether “the script” works. - The gap between the internet and reality. I think this one speaks for itself. I’m working all of this out in public, so follow if you want to watch.

Fractional CMO & Head of Marketing for Early Stage Startups

Jan 2021Present · 5 yrs 4 mos

  • As a Fractional CMO and Head of Marketing, I’ve led growth initiatives across B2B and B2C startups in generative AI, cloud computing, wellness, and crypto. I’ve advised B2B tech companies on product marketing and tailored go-to-market strategies, helping them secure critical funding and thrive in competitive markets, including a $40M Series A for a web3 company. I'm particularly passionate about community-based growth and engagement, which comes from my roots in gaming, metaverse and crypto experience.
  • In B2C, I led the launch of a privacy-focused product that achieved #1 on Product Hunt, attracting 10,000 users, and developed SEO/CRO strategies for early-stage startups to boost search visibility and inbound traffic. My expertise also extends to brand building and PR, where I grew Olympian Mitchell Saron’s wellness presence to tens of thousands of followers and secured partnerships with leading brands like Samsung and SKIMS. Notably, Mitchell Saron earned sponsorship income well beyond the average for a first time Olympian.
  • With a strategic, results-driven approach, I am equipped to add significant value to any high-growth company aiming to scale and capture market share in both emerging and established sectors.

Neeva

Go-To-Market Advisor & Head of Marketing

Jan 2021Jan 2023 · 2 yrs · Mountain View, California, United States

  • Neeva was acquired by Snowflake (NYSE: SNOW) in 2023 after my team grew the product to 2M users. Neeva is and was the first AI-powered, ad-free, private and personal search engine with ambition to create a better alternative to Google. I managed a diverse team across product marketing, community, social media, and customer experience. Our collective efforts put Neeva on the map as a pioneer in AI application.
  • One of the milestones of my tenure at Neeva was the launch of our NeevaAI products. These boosted our average daily account acquisition from hundreds to thousands. Our efforts received widespread recognition, earning us organic attention across prominent platforms such as TechCrunch, This Week in Startups, The All-In Podcast, Forbes, CNBC, Bloomberg, and more, effectively reaching tech-forward audiences worldwide.
  • Our team also spearheaded multi-channel launch campaigns and online community building initiatives for a new blockchain search engine and web3 wallet application. These ventures further solidified Neeva's position as a leader in the search tech sector.
  • The culmination of these strategic efforts was our acquisition by Snowflake, a testament to the compelling positioning and high-profile updates my team and I constantly pursued. This journey showcased the immense potential of a dedicated team coupled with groundbreaking technology, as we significantly elevated Neeva's brand visibility and market standing.

Niantic, inc.

Global Product Marketing Lead

Apr 2018Oct 2021 · 3 yrs 6 mos · San Francisco Bay Area

  • I joined Niantic when it was 70 employees and left when it was over 1,000. I was so lucky to have played a key leadership role on a global cross-functional team inspiring outdoor exploration, exercise, and meaningful social interactions at the world's leading Augmented Reality (AR) company. I actively fostered collaboration and drove strategic decision-making, using both qualitative customer feedback and quantitative data to enhance our product offerings and user experience.
  • This time at Niantic was marked by my team's successful launch of numerous revenue-driving products, including in-app ticketed events, subscription model pilots, and B2B sponsorship sales. I worked closely with product teams, marketing channel leads, and regional scout teams to develop a long-lead roadmap of features and in-game events. Our collective efforts led to the highest number of active users since Pokémon GO’s launch.
  • Additionally, I built and managed co-marketing and sales efforts with external IP partners at The Pokémon Company, platforms such as Samsung, Google, and Apple, and business development partnerships across fashion, consumer packaged goods, and telecom brands.
  • One of the highlights of my Niantic tenure was the launch of a commercial directed by acclaimed director Rian Johnson (Star Wars and Knives Out). I oversaw the positive ROI multimillion-dollar media plan for this project, further reinforcing our brand and expanding our user base.
  • I was honored with several awards, including Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2021, Apple App Store's App of The Year in 2020, and the Gold Distinction at the Shorty Awards in 2019. These accolades serve as a testament to the impact and reach of the work we did at Niantic, truly blending the digital and physical worlds to create memorable experiences.
