About

I am currently working as an Engineering Services Engineer at Siemens PLM Software, where I design and test control algorithms for various automotive applications. I apply model based design techniques to provide solutions to customers using software such as Simcenter Amesim, Simcenter PreScan and MATLAB/Simulink. I use Simcenter PreScan to develop autonomous scenarios and develop autonomous driving algorithms to verify the performance. I have graduated with a Mechanical Engineering Master's degree from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, specializing in control systems. I have two years of automotive industrial experience designing clutch and clutch release systems. I have completed a three month internship where I developed on Intersection Collision Mitigation control algorithm for autonomous vehicles. I utilized data from Lidar, Radar and Camera to predict collision and estimate control commands to avoid it. I have also completed a research internship at National University of Singapore, where I created a vehicle detection module using OpenCV to detect oncoming vehicles. Specialties: - Knowledge in various modern and classical control techniques like PID, LQR, LQG and other optimal control techniques. - Knowledge in control algorithms used in vehicles such as steering control, active suspension, adaptive cruise control. - Knowledge in modeling and control of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles. - Experience in implementing hybrid A-Star path planning algorithm in MATLAB. - Experience in working with ADAS systems and autonomous vehicles. - Experience in working with OpenCV for vehicle and manufacturing applications. - Practical skills working with robotics. - Adept in C, C++ and Python - Experience in using ROS and Linux (Ubuntu) Operating System - Adept in the usage of softwares such as Creo, ANSYS, PreScan, Matlab, Simulink, LabView, Amesim
