• I teach and conduct research in the domains of complex systems, computational and systems biology, and complex networks. I am associated with the Center for Computational Biology (http://ccb.iiitd.ac.in/). I am keenly interested in conducting research threads with the undergraduate students. I run an active research internship program in the Complex Systems Laboratory, through which I have so far conducted research projects with more than 60 undergrads students leading to peer-reviewed publications with their contributions.

• I was associated with the Computational Science honors BTech (ICT) program. Teaching and research in the areas of complex systems, complex networks, systems and network biology. I designed curriculum and taught following courses within my domain of expertise: Fundamentals of Computational and Systems Biology (IT470) and Advanced Techniques in Systems Biology (CS305). I also taught Information Systems Modeling (IT655) course. I am co-guiding Vandana Ravindran towards her PhD thesis. I guided Lavanya Gupta towards completion of her BTech project.

• Assistant Professor in the Centre of Excellence in Biologically Inspired Systems Science. Teaching and research in the areas of complex systems, complex networks, systems and network biology. I designed curriculum for following courses and taught them: Complex Networks, Computational and Systems Biology, Modeling and Analysis of Biological Complex Systems, and Simulation and Optimization Techniques (partial). I also contributed towards teaching of following courses: Structure and Dynamics of Complex Networks, Introduction to Quantum Information and Complex Networks, and Electromagnetism & Optics (Lab Component). I developed a computational laboratory (Complex Systems Laboratory) through the Seed Grant (Project No. IITJ/SEED/2014/0003) from IIT Jodhpur. I am guiding three PhD research scholars at IIT Jodhpur towards their PhD thesis: Rakesh Kanji, Rahul Badhwar and Rakhi N K. In addition to this I have mentored 13 B.Tech. students for their year-long projects (5 in 2013-14 and 8 in 2014-15) and 2 M.Tech. students in their year-long projects. My research explorations at IIT Jodhpur has 'so far' led to 11 research articles, including an interesting discovery of an exceptional food pairing phenomenon in Indian cuisine (http://home.iitj.ac.in/~bagler/spice/spice.html).

I focused on questions related to control of complex diseases, in silico drug discovery and search for therapeutic molecules from medicinal plants of Himalayas.
