Pursued my MBA from ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad. By 2018, 12 years into my career, I was a Director at a Chinese company earning ₹5L/month. Took a ₹2 Cr home loan. Life was set. Within 2 months, they shut India operations. I was fired. No backup. Family to support. EMIs running. "You are overpaid or not the right fit." — Every interview ended the same way. In November 2018, I entered the renewable energy industry. Started making cold calls. Then came February 22, 2019. My father had an accident. Brain surgery. Hospital bills piling up. EMI calls not stopping. Sitting next to my father in the ICU, I made cold calls. "Koi aur option tha hi nhi." Rejected. Ignored. Cut off. For months. October 2019 — closed a ₹40L deal. Got ₹2L as advance. The remaining ₹38L never came. "He's just one guy. Let's not pay him." That's when I realized — I didn't know business.
