Madhav Bhagat — Co-Founder
I didn’t set out to build legal tech. At Carnegie Mellon, I was the kind of engineer who thought building an operating system from scratch was a fun weekend. At Google, I worked across teams - from scaling Google Classroom when it had just 100 daily users, to building AI-powered features in Google Forms before AI became a boardroom buzzword. One of my projects involved helping the legal investigation team pull data from across Gmail, Drive, Photos, and Calendar. Ten terabytes at a time. That’s where I first saw what tech could do when it solved real, high-stakes problems. Years later, over a beer at a Diwali party, I got talking to a Wall Street lawyer about contracts. We were frustrated by the same thing: legal workflows hadn’t caught up with modern software. That’s how SpotDraft started. Today, SpotDraft is a full-stack contract lifecycle platform, powered by AI and grounded in how legal teams actually work. I’m always up to talk about what it takes to scale LLMs in production without breaking everything. If you’re building in AI, let’s connect.
