I have 25 years of experience building engineering teams that deliver with ownership and pace, while staying close to the technical work, through architecture reviews, deep dives, and direct engagement with the problems that matter most. My approach centers on creating clarity, aligning engineering, product, and business stakeholders around a shared direction, then investing in the leaders and teams who execute. At scale, that means knowing where to go deep, whether that's a critical goal that's off track, a team that's lost connection to what it owns, or an architectural decision with long-term consequences. I joined AWS to pursue my interest in cloud computing, and spent 10 years doing exactly that. Over that time I grew into a Sr. SDM role, taking Application Auto Scaling from zero to one and scaling it to 100K+ customers managing millions of resources, bootstrapping a serverless developer experience organization, and helping deliver a complex, high-stakes infrastructure initiative at ECS. Now I find myself drawn to GenAI in the same way. I'm looking for roles where technical contribution is central, whether that's a senior IC track, a focused engineering leadership role at a smaller company, or an advisory capacity. I'm drawn to hard problems, exceptional teams, and work that's still being figured out.
