About

I have a Community Leadership, Program Management, & Ecosystem Marketing background at high-growth startups, launching and scaling end-to-end business lines and communities. I'm a swiss army knife leader & can execute all aspects of a community from inception to scale. Within my communities, I managed admissions, curriculum and customer journey design, virtual & IRL events, retention, engagement, partnerships, and content. I've managed teams of 1-5 people, built initiatives that grew from 0 to $500K in revenue over 6 months, and have worked across software and VC. I’m a passionate technologist and love to contribute deeply to whichever team I join. I spend my spare time mentoring, creating high-value resources, and building relationships. I love to help ambitious people believe in themselves! 💪🏽 ========= I'm currently the Founder and Host of Taste & Tactics, a new podcast that breaks down the marketing playbooks behind iconic products, told by the people who built them. I was most recently a Fractional Marketing, Events, and Operations Lead at Fort Light, the leadership accelerator for startup managers. We provide community and group coaching for high-potential leaders. After being selected for & completing the program myself in June 2024, I joined the team to expand our offerings and grow the business. Before that, I led the Angel Investor Community at The Council Fund, a Pre-Seed VC Fund. Our Angel investor community comprised >150 operator angels with various industry & functional expertise, actively writing $5k-$50k personal angel checks. I was previously Director of On Deck Catalyst, a remote program for young tech leaders. On Deck was a global program with open applications, to help amazing people worldwide access Silicon Valley networks and capital. I joined as 3rd employee and scaled with the company to ~275. Catalyst made >$500K in revenue in 6 months with >400 talented members. I was also previously the Founder & CEO of The Violet Society, a community for ambitious female & non-binary people in tech, which I ran full-time before joining On Deck. Created in 2013, we helped early-to-mid-career people find a support system, community, and mentorship to build a powerful technology startup or level up in their Product or Engineering career. From 2018-2019, we ran 7 Fellowship programs, 2 Retreats, and 2 iterations of our hackathon Violet Hacks. In my spare time, I enjoy Bollywood dance, reading science fiction, and creating visual art across mediums.
