About

I am the chief executive officer (CEO) of GE Vernova, a purpose-built global company focused on electrifying and decarbonizing the world and leading the future of energy. With approximately 85,000 employees in over 100 countries, our technology base helps generate one quarter of the world's electricity. Since becoming a stand-alone public company in 2024, I’ve positioned GE Vernova to meet the surging global demand for electric power with the company’s equipment, services, and software. I’ve also cultivated a culture of Lean to accelerate operational and financial performance while investing in the breakthrough technologies needed for a more sustainable and prosperous future for all. I have more than 20 years of leadership, finance, and operations experience and was named CEO of GE’s Gas Power business in 2018 and expanded this role to leading the GE Power businesses in 2021. There, I led the team that executed the turnaround of Gas Power and oversaw the launch and global scaling of the HA gas turbine platform—one of our most commercially successful product introductions. Prior to joining GE’s Power businesses, I served for two years as CFO of GE Aviation’s Commercial Engine Operations organization. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Labor Relations from Cornell University and a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs with a focus on Economics and Public Policy.
