A Surgeon’s Journey with Purpose Over 25 years ago, I stepped into the world of surgery with a scalpel in hand and a deep desire to heal. What began as a profession has grown into a lifelong mission—to transform lives not just inside the operating theatre, but far beyond it. Today, I serve as a Senior Consultant Surgeon at Jupiter Hospital Pune and Co-Founder Director at DOSS, a collaborative group of passionate surgeons dedicated to offering innovative surgical solutions to diverse health problems. As a national faculty in laparoscopy, hernia, and obesity surgery, and a postgraduate teacher in surgery, I find immense joy in shaping the next generation of doctors. Having served as the Head of the Department of Surgery at Ruby Hall Clinic, I’ve seen how mentorship and teamwork can drive excellence in patient care. But my passion goes beyond the hospital walls. Through my YouTube channel ‘Aayushman Bhav’, I’m on a mission to make healthcare understandable, relatable, and real for the everyday person.
