I am a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over two decades of experience in arthroscopy, joint replacement, and robotic surgeries, specialising in the knee, shoulder, and hip. I currently practice at Breach Candy Hospital, Saifee Hospital, and P. D. Hinduja Hospital (Khar), where I focus on delivering advanced orthopaedic care with precision, faster recovery, and long-term outcomes. My expertise lies in robotic joint replacements, sports injury treatment, and arthroscopic reconstructions of the knee and shoulder. Over the years, I have had the privilege of training internationally in Canada, the UK, Germany, and Australia, and I bring those global best practices into my surgical protocols. Some of the most meaningful milestones in my journey include performing a total knee replacement on a 98-year-old patient, at that time the oldest in India, earning a Gold Medal in Orthopaedic Surgery from LTMMC & Sion Hospital, and completing certifications in robotic surgery while performing more than 6000 successful knee, hip, and shoulder procedures. With 30+ peer-reviewed publications and 75+ citations, my work spans both knee and shoulder surgery - from robotic and unicompartmental knee arthroplasty to advanced arthroscopic techniques. I have published in leading journals including the Journal of Arthroplasty, Arthroscopy Techniques, Indian Journal of Orthopaedics, Knee Surgery & Related Research, and Clinics in Shoulder & Elbow. My research combines clinical outcomes with innovation, aiming to improve surgical precision, recovery, and long-term patient care. Beyond surgery, I am deeply passionate about medical education, research, and innovation.
