About

Corporate says they value experience - right up until you have it. After 15+ years in tech and corporate, I learned that being 40+, candid, and experienced is a career-limiting combo. Recruiters who’d been blowing up my inbox ghosted me. Someone called me a “dino” at 37. So I stopped pretending the system works. I started saying the quiet part out loud and now 80K+ people follow my work across platforms for it. Because none of us should have to depend on any one company saying yes to us. I host It Gets Late Early, a podcast and newsletter where I connect the dots between corporate power, AI disruption, economic risk, and ageism and what all of it means for mid-career professionals navigating a system that was never designed to keep them winning. We aim for dark enough to be honest, but funny and helpful enough to keep you coming back. I speak and run workshops for companies that want to build stronger, more innovative teams by actually using all the talent they already have across every generation in the room. And I partner with brands whose work genuinely serves the people I write and speak for, the way my ongoing work with AARP does. Turns out the most expensive thing in corporate America isn’t the talent they hired. It’s the talent they discarded. I do the math. Featured in: Forbes, Business Insider, WIRED, Inside Edition Partnered with: AARP, The Riveter, EssentL Creator Spoke at: Amazon, AARP As Seen On: David Spade & Dana Carvey’s Fly on the Wall podcast, because sometimes telling the truth is hilarious. Follow for real talk, listen to the show, and tell me your story.
