About

I’ve spent my career inside institutions where power is negotiated in real time, in global sport, diplomacy, media, and C-suites across India, Europe, and the Middle East. From leading global communications at the International Cricket Council to elevating women’s cricket at Star Sports, taking kabaddi to new international audiences, and shaping Indo-German narratives during the Year of Germany in India, I’ve seen how influence is built. And how quickly it can unravel. One milestone, however, stands apart. Conceptualising and launching the ICC’s 100% Cricket Future Leaders Programme, a first-of-its-kind global initiative mentoring women across all 108 member nations to address cricket’s leadership gender gap. Now in its fifth year, it continues to shift who gets to lead in sport. What connects everything I’ve done? → Impact-led storytelling → Navigating institutional complexity → Shaping reputation with intent In 2024, I founded Good Day PR & Strategic Communications — a consultancy built on what two decades inside powerful systems taught me: Visibility without values is noise. Narrative without accountability collapses. Communication is ultimately about power. Today, I work as: 🔹 Fractional Chief Communications Officer — supporting founders and institutions navigating growth, transition, or crisis 🔹 Personal Branding Mentor — designing deep, bespoke programmes for women leaders reclaiming voice, visibility, and long-term influence 🔹 Strategic Advisor — across sport, tech, media, arts, healthcare, and non-profits, with a focus on amplifying underrepresented voices 🔹 Writer & Speaker — through Have a Good Day in PR and in keynotes on leadership, executive presence, and responsible branding On LinkedIn, I write about power, perception, and the politics of visibility, through the lens of communication, culture, and justice. I’ve lived the stories I analyse. Leaving home young. Navigating grief and reinvention. Surviving boardrooms. Launching global programmes. Starting over more than once. There is probably a book in there somewhere. Until then, I do the work. If you’re ready to lead with intent, not just optics, let’s talk. 📩 ketaki.golatkar@gmail.com 🌍 Based in the UAE | Working globally
