• The Siskind laboratory in collaboration with the laboratory of Dr. Levi Beverly studies fundamental cancer cell biology utilizing 3-dimentional models of tumors in culture to understand how interactions between cancer cells and the extracellular matrix alters tumor cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and metastasis.
• Aim to determine if pigs can be used as a model for the testing of immune-modulatory therapeutics that are now being tested in humans

• Participated in the Galperin Lab within the department of Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Working alongside graduate students, PhD. candidates and my Principal Investigator to provide a detailed understanding of how Shoc2 is involved in the progression of developmental diseases and cancerogenesis(the initiation of cancer formation). Ultimately, our research will contribute to the advancement of novel therapeutic strategies for treatment of developmental disorders and cancer progression and potentially will result in improved therapies with low toxicity.

• Was team lead and co-author of an economic analysis of a local nonprofit in Lexington, KY called Town Branch Park which is set to be the first of its kind- transforming acres of asphalt into an unprecedented signature park in the heart of downtown Lexington.
• Alumni donated $30,000 to our class and while working closely with the Executive Director as well as the Capital Campaign Director, helped devise a business plan on how money (if won), should be allocated to nonprofit to further help towards the completion of the park.
• Conducted multiple analyses which varied from SWOT, statistical analysis of surveys, regression analysis, logistical analysis, as well as a RISE analysis which helped measured the relevance, impact, sustainability and how well of a fit the park would be for the city.

• As a member of the undergraduate chapter of the American Medical Student Association at the University of Kentucky, I serve as chair member of student health and wellness. I aid in establishing effective self-care practices for Pre-Med students inside and outside of the classroom. Activities include organizing chapter meetings with clinical psychologists discussing the importance of mental health as well as organizing chapter volunteer events at local organizations. I enjoy planning events that better not only my community, but also myself in all aspects and have immense gratitude for being able to do so.
