About

I’m a Network Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building and supporting enterprise WAN networks across IP/MPLS, L2/L3 VPN, MP-BGP, OSPF, and Cisco SD-WAN, along with Python-based network automation. Currently, I’m working in TNS, where I contribute to service design and delivery for customer networks. I’m actively involved in the Radianz Service Design Project, collaborating with design teams to test, validate, and deliver customer-ready solutions, and to standardize processes so deployments are faster, consistent, and scalable. On the technical side, I work hands-on with Cisco SD-WAN (vManage, vBond, vSmart, vEdge/cEdge), focusing on template standardization, troubleshooting, and policy-based traffic optimization to improve resiliency and performance. I also build automation using Python (Netmiko, Paramiko, TextFSM, regex) to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and speed up day-to-day operations. Previously, I worked with Bharti Airtel on B2B IP/MPLS service delivery and later supported NSO automation initiatives, including UAT/failure analysis and workflow improvements to raise service reliability and SLA performance. Core strengths: • Cisco SD-WAN | IP/MPLS | L2/L3 VPN | MP-BGP | OSPF | LDP | VLAN • Python Automation (Netmiko/Paramiko/TextFSM) | SOP/MOP driven process improvement • Multi-vendor exposure (Cisco/Juniper/Nokia/Huawei)

  • Designed and developed Python-based network automation solutions to migrate configurations from V15 to V22 for Juniper QFX5110, enabling single-click, low-downtime migrations for enterprise customers.
  • Built config conversion and normalization logic to identify, validate, and correct non-standard configurations, transforming them into BT-compliant design standards.
  • Played an active role in solution design, ensuring migrated configurations aligned with service design principles, scalability, and operational best practices.
  • Reduced manual effort, migration time, and configuration errors through end-to-end automation, improving overall solution reliability and accuracy.
  • Standardized multiple non-standard network design workflows, improving repeatability, scalability, and ease of deployment across customer environments.
  • Collaborated closely with solution design, testing, and validation teams to review designs, perform pre-validation, and deliver customer-ready solutions under the Radianz Service Design Project.
  • Supported design verification and testing activities, ensuring solutions met functional, operational, and customer requirements before deployment.
  • Worked in multi-vendor environments (Juniper, Cisco), contributing to the design and delivery of large-scale enterprise network solutions.

  • Integrated Cisco SD-WAN Principles: Applied Cisco SD-WAN configurations and best practices to enhance network resiliency and improve traffic management for Dish Wireless's multi-vendor network infrastructure.
  • Configuration and Troubleshooting: Leveraged hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN controllers (vManage, vBond, vSmart), and edge devices (vEdge/cEdge) to identify and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring efficient WAN deployment and reducing service interruptions.
  • Template Standardization: Utilized SD-WAN Feature and Device Templates to streamline network configurations, supporting faster incident resolution and simplifying network management across Verizon, AT&T, Lumen, and Zayo partnerships
  • Advanced Policy Implementation: Deployed centralized policies, such as application-aware routing and custom traffic engineering, to prioritize mission-critical applications, minimize downtime, and optimize performance within an AWS-deployed network.
  • Lab Environment for Testing and Training: Developed and tested SD-WAN configurations in an EVE-NG lab on GCP, simulating network scenarios to refine troubleshooting processes and train team members on SD-WAN capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Vendor Collaboration: Coordinated with internal teams and external vendors to document incidents, improve outage response times, and implement process enhancements based on SD-WAN routing and failover strategies.
