• The Humanism Project (THP) is a social justice advocacy organisation that represents the religious, regional and linguistic diversity of the Indian diaspora in Australia. It is a national coalition of individuals and organisations in Australia and overseas who have come together with a vision to create a better world where all humans have equal rights, dignity and opportunity; regardless of who they are, where they come from, how they pray, what they wear, who they love or what they eat. High level actions that our advocacy has enabled include the tabling of a motion on human rights in an Australian state parliament in August 2020, a joint briefing on human rights with Amnesty International to the Australian Parliamentarians in March 2021 and successfully advocating for inclusion of caste discrimination as a form of racism in the Australian Human Rights Commission's Anti-Racism Framework in 2022. The bank was looking at a strong strategic leadership and marketing push to grow its asset financing business, primarily for trucks and construction equipment, and to benefit from the construction boom in the region. • Leadership of the bank’s asset financing division. I introduced an innovative delivery program, which incorporated simplification of customer experience, establishment of a referral network and more effective control systems to identify non-performing assets. This resulted in more than doubling of sales within a year. The sales program is still being used by the bank.
