About

Head Of BioInformatics & AI Research | Driving Innovations in Protein Sequencing & Medical Imaging I build AI systems that help solve some of the most complex problems in healthcare—designing proteins, discovering antibodies, and developing medical technologies that impact lives. As a founding team member and Head of Bioinformatics & AI Research at Inito, I’ve spent the last decade at the crossroads of biology, data science, and medical imaging. My work focuses on creating AI-driven frameworks for protein discovery and therapeutic development, with a recent highlight being the successful identification of a novel antibody for a known ligand. My career began in medical imaging, where I developed computer vision and signal-processing systems for healthcare devices. That foundation naturally evolved into data science and deep learning, and today, into bioinformatics and computational biology—where I apply cutting-edge models like AlphaFold and DiffDock to accelerate drug discovery and personalized medicine. Highlights of my journey so far: - Designed and launched a medical imaging device (and companion apps) successfully in the US market. - Led the discovery of a novel antibody using a proprietary AI framework. - Awarded CII & Good Design Award for product innovation. - Part of the Y Combinator alumni network. I’m passionate about advancing the boundaries of AI in healthcare—whether it’s decoding proteins, designing scalable bioinformatics pipelines, or building products that bring science closer to patients. Always open to collaborations at the intersection of AI, biotech, and healthcare innovation.
