• Worked on improvement of Philips iSyntax compression/decompression pipeline. Work was targeted on improving the compression/decompression speed of iSyntax by introducing a new compression algorithm based on huffman coding and DPCM.
• Worked on serialization/deserialization and in-memory representation of data objects, low level system I/O and memory management.
• Improved TLS (Transport Layer Security) secure socket implementation of our product.
• Implemented compression/decompression framework of our product using IPP (Intel Integrated Performance Primitives). This framework supports commonly used DICOM compression transfer syntaxes.
