Sanjay Katkar — Co-Founder
I built the first-generation antivirus while pursuing my Masters in Computer Science during 1993-94. In 1995, I co-founded Quick Heal Technologies. With extensive experience spanning three decades, I have been at the forefront of combating viruses, ransomware, and all kinds of cyber threats. My work includes reverse engineering and researching countless complex malware and cyber threats. Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I have built high-performing teams and released numerous cybersecurity solutions to millions of consumers and enterprises. This has revolutionized the cybersecurity landscape, elevated India to the global stage, and driven constant innovation through Quick Heal and Seqrite’s cutting-edge solutions. I have spoken at various forums such as IIM, IIT, DSCI, and NASSCOM, and have served as a director with the Association of Anti-Virus Researchers, Asia. Through these roles, I contribute to shaping the global cybersecurity narrative. I mentor various startups and act as an angel investor in select ventures. Outside of work, I balance my professional passion with yoga, fitness, and adventure activities like paragliding, skydiving, and scuba diving. Our core purpose remains clear: Innovate, Simplify, and Secure, positioning Quick Heal and Seqrite as leaders in the industry globally.
