Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, I found myself drawn early on to the art and science of building and scaling businesses. This interest led me to pursue Chartered Accountancy, where I earned an All-India Rank at the Intermediate level an achievement that laid the foundation for my finance career. My professional journey began with a Big 4 internship, where I immersed myself in complex financial systems and best practices. After qualifying, I joined a global manufacturing MNC and developed a strong grasp of end-to-end operations. But it was in the high-energy world of startups where I discovered my true passion. Today, at Bombay Shaving Company, I serve as Head of Business Finance & Risk. I own the Group P&L and drive profitability across multiple brands. I lead business finance, FP&A and risk-management teams, and I'm accountable for working-capital management, successfully driving collections of US $60 million annually to support growth and operational liquidity. I also manage investor relations and board-level reporting, ensure cost-optimization and ROI-led decisions, oversee commercial negotiations, and lead finance-automation initiatives to streamline processes.
