After consistently delivering in the first 6-7 years in a commercial role, I was chosen to work in HR at Edwards Lifesciences, and the rest is History. From junior HR executive for a Business unit to APAC HR manager in 10 years was a significant milestone in my career, and then I never looked back. I learnt a lot on the job, over 25 years and evolved from managing HR operations to spearheading enterprise-wide transformations in sales and human capital strategy across India, SAARC, and APAC. I led HR through pivotal changes—post-acquisition integrations, HR tech revamps, leadership management, Digital HR, and culture resets. What set me apart? 1) No fear of the unknown - I have explored new industries, including #lifesciences, #healthcare, #medicaldevices, #Manufacturing, #Speciality Chemicals, #IT distribution, and established my credibility by creating a meaningful impact by driving HR & Business transformation consistently. 2) The courage to break boundaries - After successful HR leadership, I was chosen to lead Sales at Ingram, becoming the first in its history to do so. An HR professional leading a sales team is an unheard-of or rare occurrence. I pursued this path to prove that women in HR understand the numbers, can run a successful business, and can capably handle the sales leadership of a large enterprise. Today, I’m passionate about architecting workforces that are resilient, digitally agile, and emotionally intelligent. Whether it's reducing operational HR costs by 15%, elevating retention by 12%, or making a workplace the Best Place to work, I bring a relentless focus on results. My HR Philosophy: "HR shouldn’t just fill roles and run operations — it should ignite revolutions. Over 25 years, I’ve turned bureaucratic HR departments into cultural epicentres by challenging the status quo and dismantling the company's legacy processes, which are irrelevant in today's time, to create a 16% productivity surge.
