Previously, he played a pivotal role in establishing Google's EMEA Office of the CTO and spearheaded the rapid growth of the company's Warsaw site, expanding the engineering team to over 500 people. Antonio's career has spanned six European countries, giving him a wealth of international experience. He brings valuable insights from previous roles at Elsevier (Vice President), Microsoft (Bing Search Site Leader), Ask.com (CTO, Europe), and various positions held within Google itself across Poland, the UK, and Switzerland. He is also an entrepreneur, having founded multiple companies, including the first search engine in Italy and one of the first in the world. He is also an angel investor. Antonio is a co-inventor on technologies in search, smart energy, and AI, with 11 patents granted and another 27 pending. He actively shares his knowledge by authoring books on coding and machine learning, translated into multiple languages. Antonio is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian, and actively learning Polish and French.
