I got into Product Management the long way — and I think that's my edge. Before I ever wrote a PRD, I spent years inside retail businesses doing the unglamorous work: category management, ads monetization, membership retention, market research, supply chain and analytics. I've sat across the table from FMCG brand heads, negotiated marketplace policies, and built demand forecasting models from scratch. That background gave me something most PMs don't have — a genuine feel for how businesses make and lose money, and a healthy obsession with measuring things that actually matter. Today I lead Product Discovery at Decathlon India — owning Search, Navigation and Personalization. Some things I've worked on that I'm proud of: improving search click-through and average click position through better ranking logic and relevance tuning; scaling personalization and cutting development cycles in half by leading a full Flutter migration that unified iOS and Android into a single codebase. If I had to describe myself in two words: perpetual student. I'm a believer in the Toyota way — the idea that there's always something to improve, always something to learn, and that the pursuit itself is the point. I'm deeply curious about human behaviour — how products shape the way people think and act, and how people's behaviour in turn shapes the products we build. I write about what I notice, on LinkedIn and Substack, because putting observations into words is how I make sense of them. Always up for a conversation about e-commerce, retail, product management, or anything in between.
