About

Private Equity professional and pioneer in the greentech growth investment space with three decades of leadership experience driving high-growth transformative companies as a PE investor, CEO, senior executive, boardmember and chairman. Nordic Alpha Partners, one of Europe’s first PE firms fully dedicated to sustainable growth investments, has since 2017 fueled over €1 billion into accelerating the global green transition. In the process, the firm has transformed numerous startups into global green technology leaders across 3D printing, eMobility, electrification, wireless charging, water-tech, and recycling. This traction resulted in multiple IPOs and successful exits to companies such as EdenRed, Dstny Group/Apax Partners, Aptean/Vista Partners, and Tesla. Throughout my career, I’ve built, refined, and deployed a proprietary end-to-end strategy and business operations toolkit designed to enable the creation, de-risking, and management of hyper-growth in transformative markets such as the green transition. This toolkit, which forms the core value creation and investment playbook of Nordic Alpha Partners, will soon be available to a wider audience with the release of the book Changing the Math. Furthermore, based on the book, we are in discussions with several of the world’s leading academic institutions to establish a new executive-level education program aimed at enabling large-scale talent development in private equity, innovation ecosystems, and boardrooms. The rationale is that without rapidly developing a new language and skill set optimized for the complexity of the green transition, hypertransformation and the global green re-industrialization, we will struggle to succeed with reaching NetZero in a capital-efficient way.
