DetectBox was the world's first personalised smart contract audit marketplace where clients could transparently choose the auditors they are working with while our platform and team manages the audit supply chain for them. Auditors could bid for a project and client could select them based on their experience. The experience of auditors was passed through a strict due-dilligence before allowing them into the platform. Our selection ratios were as low as 10%. We had 100+ security auditor registrations from auditors across the globe on Day 1 of launch.
We also went onto introduce the concept of detect-wardens, a highly experienced team of auditors who manage the entire audit process and do residual vulnerability check.
The client could manage the entire findings of the audit in a single dashboard. This enabled faster mitigation and smooth communication between security auditors and client's developers.
We brought down 30 days of wait time + 30 days of audit time to only 14 days in total. We partnered and launched audit grants under major ecosystems like Polygon, StarkNet and Tezos India. We received 17k+ grants from Antler, StarkNet and EthIndia.
We then went on to create an Umbrella DAO of security researchers called DetectDao - detectdao.io .
Later we took a major pivot from security audits to economic risk management and hence had to depreciate DetectBox.
