• Exicure is a biotechnology start-up developing novel therapeutics targeting psoriasis, inflammatory disorders, and several classes of cancer using proprietary Spherical Nucleic Acid (SNA) delivery system. I worked on the chemistry team to synthesize and purify oligonucleotides that are involved in drug delivery. I also maintained and updated tracking data of oligonucleotide database containing over 9,000 unique molecules.

• The Affective and Clinical Neuroscience Laboratory is currently conducting an NIH-funded research study titled the "Brain, Motivation and Personality Development Project," (BrainMAPD). BrainMAPD seeks to understand the neural correlates of common emotional mood disorders (especially anxiety and depression) in order to better classify and diagnose these conditions.
• I led a team of 7 other research assistants on the behavioral team of the study. We guided participants through a series of computerized tasks that generated various emotional states, and used electrophysiology to monitor their bodies response to the stimuli. As a team lead, I coordinated the training and schedules of other research assistants and led several complex 4-hour behavioral sessions per week with participants.
