I used to think Engineering was just about code. My first semester taught me it’s about solving problems, building communities, and showing up. As a first-year Computer Science student at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, I’ve spent the last few months diving headfirst into the tech world. From participating in hackathons to exploring the intersection of UI/UX and Full Stack Development, I love the chaos of turning an idea into a working product. Highlights so far: 🚀 Dropy Drone (Funded Project): Co-created an autonomous delivery drone designed to handle campus logistics. We analyzed the issue of long delivery times for snacks and tools, pitched a solution to cut delivery time from 20 mins to 2 mins, and secured college funding to build the prototype. Tripster: Built the frontend for an AI-powered travel companion as a semester mini-project, sharpening my React and UI/UX skills. 🤝 Leader: Serving as a Student Coordinator and recently returned to my school as an NSS Resource Person to mentor 50+ juniors on teamwork and personal branding. 🎨 Explorer: Constantly learninggg whether it’s MERN stack, Python, or the art of pitching a product.
