• It brings me great joy to share a project that I’ve been working on for the past 16 months. It is a book called How to Product, a resource for those trying to break into product management. I struggled to get my first job as a product manager, and others have also shared the same pain point, which motivated me to come up with a solution. As a result, I interviewed 40 product managers to share key insights to present similar ideas to those looking to transition into a product role. • Pave is a time management tool for students to improve and enhance their productivity. We built and iOS and android application to enable the solution. Our approach was to help users break down larger goals into smaller approachable pieces which make things easier to manage. Through our timer and countdown, users were able to log in real time how much time they spent on their tasks and activities. After each day a user can see a detailed description on how much time was spent doing what. Furthermore as the user sets their goals and as they try to reach them we send encouraging push notifications to keep them on track and keep them motivated.
